Determined Decision

Bharat Bahadur Bisural, Chairman, Professional Wrestling Entertainment Championship Association Nepal (PWECAN).

“Nepali, nothing left behind and Nepal is no more unknown”. To prove this statement, Bharat Bahadur Bisural “The Himalayan Tiger” joins the wrestling to make Nepal and Nepali known to the world.

 When he went to New York (America) in 1985, he found, his country is unknown to many. For the nationlism and country fame, he started  to make the country name known, he planned to join Wrestling and started to play since 1992 continuouly.  Before this, he had served Nepali Army for 11 years. He has already played more than 600 games. Though he play most of his game in America, he had never forget the nation. He played for his own script with the Nepali Flag, and making the Nepali’s Flag tatoo in his arms. He continuously play alone and mark the history of single Wrestler from Nepal. He was born in 1958 March 6 in Lamjung.

He had lived in New York  continuously for 11 years, without returning Nepal,  between 1988 to 2000. In 2001, He shifted to Altanta, after making a home there. Despite of his interest, he had to shift Altanta for his wife’s  will and disputes arises there because he wanted to stay New York. After having  Divorce, to American Citizen, he returned back to Nepal, from  2007 he stayed Nepal and had not return back.   

In his own attempt and investment, he started to work on development and rise of Nepali Wrestler. He has trained more than 12 Nepali Wrestler, in his own investment.

Though, he has already spent 6 years for the Nepali Wrestling Development, still it is crawling stage. The main reason that the Nepali Wrestling is not flourished, is lack of investment, Bisural said. To organize the single it costs minimum 2 lakhs. All the player are from the the middle class, who are unable to invest and should find the alternatives game for the day-to- day survival .The game is played occasionally, the continuity of the game is not possible due to the cost. He has gone to every doors of big advertiser, government organs, had not gets andy support. They tapped him, they will support him, when he has done it. But the main problems is initial invest which need a lot of money to organize, he shared .

He has not given off- his will. He is determined to wait more this year.  He is planning  to trained more 12 people within this year. From this session he is planning to charge a nominal fee for the training. Due to fee-free, players are ignoring towards the training  he told problems to TNT . If he is able to train 12 people , the game can be organize continuous.  And he is thinking  to corp responsible and invest from the players too. But the problems of wrestling ring, invester, promoter and supporter are still alive.

But the friendly match between different nation like Japan, Australia help to flourish Nepali Wrestling to the world and make the Nepal’s pride. He had spent huge money for the development of Wrestling, but sometime collegue blamed that he has spent alone all the money colleted from show and other on-seen body, makes his tensed very much. But he has not given hope, if he leaves the nation, to earn 100 million does not take times, he claimed. Still he is hoping to do something, as his character of completing work what he thinks imposed this.

Like other country, If the government support, and invester invest on this game, the game is popular, he believes. The continuity, training and passions makes professionalism, but due to lack of money, professionalism is impossible till now. It need lots of money for regular diet, game and other tools. And the player, most be healthy, and should not use any drugs.   

As you know, wrestling is played on story, nationalism, conception, nature and passion and interest of the audiance. There are two  way as a profession and Free-style. Free-style wrestling is also played in Olympic games. He is single man from Nepal.

He, has more plan this year to register,  Himalayan Tiger Trust within this year for the the development of Wrestling and it might generates money too.
